Amanecer Dedication Service & Celebration

Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising Sun will come to us from heaven. (Luke 1:78)

Sunday, January 21 was filled with excitement and thanksgiving! People gathered to celebrate the sod-turning and dedication of a new tract of land just outside Belice Colony / Tres Cruces in Bolivia. This new property called Amanecer (meaning ‘Sunrise’ - a new beginning, a new day) will be the site for a school and church.

People are leaving the colony system in search of spiritual help, education for their children and places where they can fellowship together. Parents are excited about this new project, and are hoping to have the school shelter in place by April!

"What a blessed day with worship, children’s story, message, followed by a Guiso lunch. After lunch we had the dedication and ground-breaking service followed by some yummy watermelon."

~ Nancy Friesen, MEM Team

Praise God for the excitement surrounding this new outreach!

Pray for all those who are ministering together to make this a place of ministry and encouragement.

Pray for those who will hear the Gospel through this outreach

Pray that the necessary funds would come as they begin various construction projects for the school and church
